Joseph Chan

Founder

Joseph is a seasoned financial services executive with four decades of experience spanning commercial banking, investment banking including corporate finance advisory, IPO sponsors M&A transactions, Equity Capital markets and Debt Capital Markets.

He co-founded and led Oriental Patron Financial Group in 1993 and managed various high-profile IPOs and M&A transactions. He also started Oriental Patron’s first ever unit trust OP Growth Fund paving way for the development of Oriental Patron’s fund management business. He spined off Lyttelton Road Trust in 2025 to look after family offices affairs for his Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients.

Prior to founding Oriental Patron, Joseph worked at Credit Agricole, the largest French banking group in various functional roles of credit analyst, credit administrator, commercial lending, private banking, asset management and subsequently Head of China Banking. He was retained as advisor to the bank for a further 10 years after he left to start Oriental Patron.

On Social services front Joseph is Founding Chairman of think tank “Silk Road Economic Development Research Center” and is a regular contributor in major newspapers. He is also Chairman of the Programme Advisors Committee of the Master of Social degree in Belt & Road courses at Hong Kong Chu Hai College’s Ng Teng Fong · Sino Group Belt & Road Research Institute.

Tom Lam

Chief Executive Officer

Tom is a seasoned financial services professional. He has involved in fund operations and administrations for eight years and wide exposure across financial services ranging from capital markets to corporate services. The companies he served for included Chinese and Hong Kong companies.

Peng Du

Head of business development

Mr. Du is a visionary leader at the intersection of finance and technology. He brings deep, cross-functional expertise in venture capital and digital ecosystem, driving innovation and strategic growth. He used to be vice chairman of TUS International (872.hk), and held management role in TUS-Venture Capital Co., Ltd. Mr. Du received his master's degree in management from the School of Public Policy and Management of Tsinghua University in 2002 and his bachelor's degree in engineering from the School of Materials Science of Tsinghua University in 1999.
